Privacy Policy

RedAntelope apps don't track you, don't collect analytics, and don't sell or share your information.

This policy covers the RedAntelope apps — Mark My Day and Flux News — and this website.

The short version

  • No tracking. We don’t track you across apps or websites, and we don’t use advertising identifiers.
  • No analytics or telemetry. Our apps contain no analytics, crash-reporting, or advertising SDKs, and this website uses no analytics or tracking cookies.
  • No ads. None, anywhere.
  • Nothing sold or shared. We never sell, rent, or share personal information with anyone for marketing or advertising.
  • Your data stays with you. Unless you choose to use an optional sync service, everything you create stays on your device.

Flux News

Flux News does not collect any information about you. It has no RedAntelope account and sends nothing to RedAntelope.

  • The app connects only to the Miniflux server you configure. Your server address and API key are stored in your device’s Keychain and are sent only to that server.
  • Articles are cached on your device so you can read offline.
  • On-device features such as summaries and read-aloud with system voices run entirely on your device.
  • Optional ElevenLabs voices: if you enter your own ElevenLabs API key, the text of articles you choose to hear is sent directly from your device to ElevenLabs to generate audio, under your own ElevenLabs account and subject to ElevenLabs’ privacy policy. This is off unless you turn it on.
  • Embedded videos (for example YouTube or Vimeo) load from those services when you view them, as they would in a browser.

Mark My Day

Mark My Day does not collect analytics, usage data, or tracking information.

  • Local vaults live only on your device and never leave it.
  • iCloud Drive or Obsidian Sync vaults are synced by those providers under your own account; RedAntelope never sees them.
  • RedAntelope Sync (optional): if you create a RedAntelope Sync account, we store the information needed to provide the service — your email address, display name, a securely hashed password, the notes and files in your synced vaults, and push-notification tokens for reminders you enable. This data is used solely to sync your vaults and deliver your notifications. It is encrypted in transit, is never used for advertising or profiling, and is never sold or shared.

You can ask us to delete your RedAntelope Sync account and all of its data at any time by emailing support@redantelope.com.

This website

This website uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking cookies. Like any web server, ours may briefly keep standard request logs (such as IP address and browser type) to keep the site running and secure; these are not used to identify or track visitors.

Contacting support

If you email us, we use your message and email address only to reply to you. Support emails are read only by the RedAntelope team and are never shared or used for marketing.

Children

Our apps are not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and the effective date above.
